Undercooked bread is unappealing and will most likely be discarded. That is why it is critical to know whether your bread is undercooked before taking it out of the oven. There are two tell-tale signals that your bread isn’t quite done.

1. Still Looks and Feels Dough-y

Bread that has not been fully cooked will have a dough-like look. It may resemble bread dough totally or may have a few moist and sticky patches. Let your bread to continue baking if you find any of these damp places.

Not sure whether your eyes are playing tricks on you? Then proceed to touch your loaf of bread. A finished loaf will be firm. An undercooked loaf will be mushy, spongy, and soft in general.

2. Pale Color
